The Somers boys and girls won League Championships today at John Jay HS in South Salem. The boys dominated the field, scoring 252 points to Byram Hills 113 and Fox Lane's 111. It is believed to be the most point ever scored by a Somers boys team.
The Lady Tuskers did not dissapoint as they scored 215 to John Jay's 137. After winning 8 straight titles from 2001-2008 the Tuskers are back on top.
Thirteen Tuskers earned All League honors for girls this year: Alexa Baiano (400m, 400m IH, 4x4), Eve Marenghi (1500m, 4x8, 4x4), Jocelyn Almodovar (100H, 4x1), Jess Liberatore (HJ, LJ), Jess Kimpel (PV), Rachel O'Connell (4x8), Sarah Corning (4x8), Crosby Tillman (4x8), Kelly Lucia (4x1), Katy Kleinberg (4x1), Kim Walsh (4x1), Kat DeLandri (4x4), and Steph Craft (4x4).
