After a strong race at The Big Red Invitational the Somers Tusker boys debuted at #4 in the NY State Rankings this week. McQuaid, from Section 5 Rochester area, is ranked #1 with Burnt Hills and Queensbury, both from Section 2 north of Albany, at 2nd and 3rd. Rounding out the top 5 is Pittsford Sutherland from Section 5.
Brewster is ranked 11th. The only reason they are that low is because they did not run a full squad last weekend, which dropped them down. Once they are full strength they are expected to climb back into the top 5 with ease.
