HOLIDAY VACATION MEET SCHEDULE

Pearl River Invitatonal, Tuesday, 12/27 at Rockland Comm. Coll.
Frosh/Soph part of the meet - begins at 8:30 AM - ** 6:45 AM BUS **
ALL FROSH/SOPHS WILL COMPETE
ROSTERS HAVE BEEN E-MAILED. E-mail or call Coach Arnesen or Coach Gallino if you did not get an e-mail.

Varsity part of the meet - begins at 12:30 PM - or after Frosh/Soph
*** 10:15 AM BUS ***
ALL VARSITY / 11th and 12th graders will compete except a few vaulters and throwers. (Those mentioned below)

MARINE CORP HOLIDAY CLASSIC, Tuedsday, 12/27 at the Armory
Only a pole vault relay - Kevin Nolan and Steven Graff and
a shot put relay - Joe Hanley and Chris Groton will compete.
10:15 PM Van - leave by 10:30 AM. Pole Vault begins at 1 PM and shot put begins at 1:30 PM.

CHSAA Weight Class Meet and Open Events, Thursday, 12/29
at the Armory. 11AM start. ** 9:00 AM BUS **
EVERYONE WILL COMPETE - ROSTERS WILL BE E-MAILED BY LATE TUESDAY OR EARLY WEDNESDAY.

GREAT WEEKEND AT THE ARMORY

Some great results were posted at the Armory this weekend.
At the Jim Mitchell Meet on Friday, December 16 the following results were posted:
Alex Mattos - 6' 0" tied for 3rd - huge personal best. Equal to #2 all time Somers. Behind only Ryan Rabidou - 6'2" in 2002.

Scott Friedman - 2nd in the 600 - 1:25.93.

Joe Hanley - 45' 7.75" - shot put - 9th place / Chris Groton - 43' 7.5" - 13th place

Justin Zorn - 2:43.85 in the 1000 meters - 6th place

Kevin Nolan - 12' 0" in the pole vault - tied for 2nd place.

Omri Blair - 39' 9.75" - 6th Place

4 x 200 - 1:38.24 - Sean Dwyer - 25.5 , Omri Blair - 24.4, Scott Friedman 24.6,
Joe Martello - 23.5. Friedman shows excellent range!!


Relays run well at Bishop Loughlin: 4 x 800 clocked a fast early season time of 8:20.51 FAT - 7th Place overall.
Justin Zorn - 2:05.8, Dave Sammel - 2:06.0 , Kai Crannell - 2:09.7, Scott Friedman - 1:58.8 - PR.

4 x 400 - just 40 minutes later ran 3:36.12 for another fast early season time.
Omri Blair - 54.7, Scott Friedman - 53.5 , Justin Zorn - 55.2, Joe Martello - 52.5.
Great night for Friedman!!
